CAMS Rising Star

Nominations Now Closed for 2012 CAMS Rising Star Program

After the successful implementation of a pilot in 2004 the CAMS Rising Star commenced its first full season in 2005.

The objectives of the CAMS Rising Star initiative are to facilitate the rapid development of drivers from the junior ranks to national and international competition (FORMULA 1™ and V8 Supercars) and to increase participation in motor sport through clearly defined and supported pathways.

Nominations for the 2012 CAMS Rising Star Program have now closed.  Nominations for the 2013 program will open late in 2012.

Overview

The CAMS Rising Star Program supports the major junior pathway categories for open wheel motor racing and therefore supports the other objectives of the broader program, i.e. to increase participation.
