AMSF appoints new General Manager

The Australian Motor Sport Foundation (AMSF) has today announced the appointment of Martin Stillman as its new General Manager.

Stillman joins the AMSF following a distinguished and successful career, currently holding the position of AFL Victoria Region Manager for the Calder Cannons.

Once again, Australia’s brightest young stars will be able to nominate themselves to be considered for the 2009 Program. First win for AMSF International Rising Star Program

Tim Blanchard made his international debut on the weekend in the British Formula Ford Championship at Oulton Park in England, taking his maiden international race win and the championship points lead. The race win, an historic and significant achievement, is the first for the AMSF International Rising Star Program which is being run as a pilot this year.


Frank Gardner Dinner Resounding Success

Last Thursday 13th March, The Australian Motor Sport Foundation (AMSF) hosted a dinner at the prestigious Park Hyatt Melbourne to celebrate the colourful career of Frank Gardner OAM. Frank, the guest of honour, was joined by over 300 guests as well as number of leading motor sport personalities including Mark Webber and Sir Jackie Stewart.

Biante Model Cars have come on board as a key supporter of the CAMS Rising Star Program for the 2008 season. Whilst the sponsorship deal has been executed between Borland Racing Developments and Biante Model Cars, both organisations agreed that the financial support should be directed into the CAMS Rising Star Program to support this year's impressive crop of up-and-coming stars.

New AMSF courses to deliver F1 training experience for drivers
