National Level Selection Process

The national level nominees are competing for a number of subsidised drives in the 2011 Australian Formula Ford Championship.

The selection process for national level nominees will be as follows (indicative timeframes are shown in brackets):

  • The AMSF will create a short list of nominees (August).
  • The Advisory Panel will conduct a detailed assessment of short-listed nominees from which a score will be derived (September).
  • Successful nominees will then be interviewed by an AMSF panel (September).
  • The Selection Panel will select a final group of drivers to receive full Program support at state level (September).
  • In order to finalise selection, each driver will be required to sign a contract prepared by the AMSF and their Program partners (October).

  

State Level Selection Process 

The state level nominees are competing for a number of drives in a 2011 Victorian state Formula Ford 1600 championship.

The selection process for state level nominees will be as follows (indicative timeframes are shown in brackets):

  • The AMSF will create a short list of nominees (August).
  • The Advisory Panel will conduct a detailed assessment of each nominee from which a score will be derived (September).
  • Successful nominees will then be interviewed by an AMSF panel (September).
  • Successful nominees interviewed may have to attend an on-track evaluation day at a Victorian circuit (September).
  • The Selection Panel will select a final group of drivers to receive Program support at state level (September).
  • In order to finalise selection, each driver will be required to sign a contract prepared by the AMSF and their Program partners (October).
