The newest edition to the AMSF structure, and what could be considered to be the most important as a base to find and develop the young talent in Australia is the AMSF Rookie Rising Star program (State Level Formula Ford Championship)
The AMSF Rookie Rising Star program was first introduced in 2011, and the objectives of the initiative are to facilitate the rapid development of drivers from the junior ranks (Karting and club level) to the National Formula Ford competition and to increase participation in motor sport through clearly defined and supported pathways.
Nominations for the 2012 AMSF Rookie Rising Star Program have now closed. Nominations for the 2013 program will reopen late in 2012.

The AMSF Rookie Rising Star Program was established to offer young drivers the very best preparation for a successful promotion to the National Formula Ford Championship.
