Selection-Criterea

Selection into the 2012 AMSF Rookie Rising Star Program is based on the following criteria:

General Criteria (for all levels): 
     The driver’s long term goal must be to compete at the pinnacle of international competition, including Formula 1™, World Rally Championship, Indycar or the V8 Super Championship etc...

    The driver must be competing in CAMS approved competition (including AKA sprint-karting)
•    The driver must have consistently achieved outstanding results
•    The driver, if selected, must be prepared to run with the contracted AMSF Rookie Rising Star team (currently Minda Motorsport)
 
State Level Selection Criteria
•    The driver must be no older than 21 years and no younger than 14 years as at January 1st 2012 (rare exceptions may be considered)
•    The driver must have the ability to provide operational budget to a level which allows them to compete in the full Victorian State Formula Ford Championship with the appropriate levels of testing
