The final round of the 2011 Australian Formula Ford Championship has been a typical motorsport weekend for the three strong AMSF/CAMS Rising Star Crew with Le Brocq sealing his second place in the series championship, while he, Harrison and local young-gun Mitchell all faced the ups and downs of racing on the short Tasmanian circuit.

As we head to Symmons Plains for this weekend’s final round of the 2011 Australian Formula Ford Championship, CAMS Rising Stars Jack Le Brocq and Trent Harrison will receive local support as Tasmanian young-gun Callum Mitchell steps back up to the national game.

The penultimate round of the 2011 Australian Formula Ford Championship saw 18 entries head into the tight concrete canyon, and expectations were high in the CAMS Rising Stars pits as the Minda Motorsport team continued to strive for results.

This weekend, the AMSF Rookie Rising Stars joined their national teammates, the CAMS Rising Stars to become a force to be reckoned with as they take up the Phillip Island challenge. Former Australian Motor Sport Foundation (AMSF) supported driver Daniel Ricciardo will step up from his reserve driver duties with Toro Rosso to make his Formula 1 racing debut in the next round of the World Championship at the British Grand Prix, just down the road from where he currently lives in Milton Keynes.
