Alternative Energies Committee

The Alternative Energies Committee (AEC) was established in 2008 to steer Australian motor sport towards a greener future. The prime objective of the AEC is to encourage the application of technologies and fuels to reduce Carbon Dioxide emissions by the development of sporting and technical regulations for vehicles and events consistent with the FIA. 

The Committee is reflective of CAMS’ commitment to reviewing environmentally responsible process and promoting environmentally-friendly and fuel efficient behaviour throughout motor sport in Australia.
