Commissions
A number of National Commissions have been delegated power by the Board of CAMS to plan and administer specific disciplines or functions of the organisation. Commissions, in general, have executive authority and responsibility over areas that affect only their discipline or function.

The Australian Motor Racing Commission is specifically charged with the strategic planning and development of the Race discipline, along with assisting in the ongoing management of motor racing activities conducted within the territory of CAMS. Chair: Lyndon Punshon Executive Officer: Daniel Gargaro
The Australian Rally Commission is specifically charged with the strategic planning and development of the Rally/Road discipline, along with assisting in the ongoing management of rallying and road activities conducted within the territory of CAMS. Chair: Colin Trinder Executive Officer: Jos Roder
The Australian Off Road Commission is specifically charged with the strategic planning and development of the Off Road discipline, along with assisting in the ongoing management of off road activities conducted within the territory of CAMS. Chair: Marilyn Emmins Executive Officer: Jos Roder
The Australian Sport & Club Development Commission is specifically charged with the responsibility for club level motor sport and club development. This includes all matters relating to the support, development and growth of club level motor sport activities and car clubs and their membership. This Commission is also charged with the strategic planning and development of the Speed and Auto Test disciplines within the territory of CAMS. Chair: Neil Turner Executive Officer: John Bruning
The Historic Commission is specifically charged with the strategic planning and development of the Historic function, along with assisting in the ongoing management of historic motor sport activities conducted within the territory of CAMS. Chair: Bob Cracknell Executive Officer: Jo Coad
The Australian Officials Commission is specifically charged with the responsibility for strategic planning and development of the Officials function and the development and monitoring of a national framework that informs, supports and recognises the recruitment, retention, development and recognition of volunteer officials.
