The FW1 Aussie Racing Cars Series has announced its 2012 calendar.

The Fw1 Aussie Racing Cars Series is a popular and exciting category, which sees large grids and extremely competitive racing. With FW1 on board as a naming right sponsor for the second year, the series continues to go from strength to strength.

Series Director Brad Ward said; “We are thrilled to announce the most exciting Aussie Racing Cars event calendar ever which will launch at Australia’s largest motor racing festival, the Clipsal 500 Adelaide in March. The 2012 Series will be contested over six rounds in conjunction with the V8 Supercars and will include the biggest and best events on the V8 Supercars calendar.”

The FW1 Aussie Racing Cars are small, light and can reach speeds in excess of 200kph. Custom built in Australia, they allow wheel to wheel racing at some of Australia’s most exciting tracks.
