2+4 Events
Motor Sport events that combine automobile and motorcycle activities have a significant and prosperous history throughout the world.
CAMS have recognised the need for this type of event where both cars and motorcycles are involved to take place, however in doing so the safety of spectators, officials and competitors alike is paramount.
The key principles and underlying objectives for a 2+4 event to take place are:
-
The CAMS Event Permit will only cover the automobile related competition at the event; separate coverage of a similar nature must be obtained for the motorcycle activity.
-
Geographic separation where possible in the Pit, Paddock or Service areas between automobiles and motorcycles.
Any application made to CAMS by an organiser to conduct a 2+4 event will be considered on a case by case basis and must receive the prior approval of the CAMS CEO.
